The Adventure Begins

Finally! I’ve started the blog, after postponing it’s creation as it felt too soon to start writing about my travels, I have begun. With it being less that a week till I leave my job and 2 weeks to the day until I fly out to India my plans have suddenly become very really and I though it was about time I got my act in gear.

In this coming year I am going to be going to 3 different countries on 3 very different journeys. Firstly to India on behalf of the Friends of the Delhi Brotherhood Society, to work with the Delhi Brotherhood Society photographing the work they do and hopefully getting my hands dirty at the same time. Then upon my return I shall feedback my experience to the good people of Framlingham and create a display to be on show in St Michael’s Church during the Week of Prayer (Sunday 25th of September – Sunday 2nd of October) . Then I'm jetting of to New Zealand with my dear brother to do a general tour of the island, but it’s not going to be your average holiday. We plan to be 'willing' workers on organic farms aka WWOOFers, doing a few hours hard labor each day in return for a bed and all the meals in the day, but as well as being a good way to save money I hope it will give us a deeper look into life down under. But don’t worry it’s not going to be all work and no play; I plan to jump off something very high with a bit of rubber attached to my ankles. Then finally I will be going to South Africa to work with Entabeni Communications to volunteer as an outdoor education instructor, instructing rock climbing, kayaking and similar mundane activates as well as getting involved with local environmental projects that have yet to be specified.

So as you can see I'm going to be a bit busy over the next year and for some reason the dyslexic has decided to blog his experience. Why?  Well hopefully you will enjoy reading about my experiences and knowing what I’m getting up to but also to document my experience for future reference so when I’m old and gray I can look back and reminisce on the good old times.
